The month of February was greeted with the start of Cebu Litfest 2023. Cebu Litfest celebrates and gathers writers, poets, artists, readers, and exhibitors not only in Cebu, but all around the country. In this year’s Litfest, 40 exhibitors featured their arts and products for the festival goers. The event was held for two days in the event area of Ayala Center Bloc in Cebu IT Park.

Of course, the event is about literature, so expect authors both renowned and unknown to have a booth in the event selling their masterpieces. You can take a picture with them if you like.

Artists showcased their artwork and various unique merchandise for them to be sold. Prices vary from cheap, affordable, to expensive.

You will also see booths of various workshops featuring their talents for the Litfest 2023 goers to see such as this voice acting demo reel by Bunny Shy.

While the festival is about dedicating Filipino literature, you will also find cosplayers and anime lovers roaming around the event taking pictures. It’s a staple of such event since its return in 2022 and Filipinos have no complaints about it since they love anime as well.

The stage features various artists of various literary mediums ranging from books, comics, poets, and so many more. On stage is Sskait, a comic artists that features short comedic comic strips. 

Litfest is an event held more than once in one year so expect the event to occur later in the year 2023. The venues are usually held on the two existing Ayala Malls in Cebu: Ayala Center Cebu and Ayala Central Bloc.
