Another tourist attraction here in Cebu City. It is actually a dubbed as Cebu’s Taj Mahal. Temple of Leah is a shrine holding the memory of Leah Albino – Adarna, the late wife of Teodorico Adarna.
Out of undying love and devotion of Mr. Adarna to his late wife (53), he decided to plan the temple after the death of his wife in 2012. So he designs the place that can withstand time that can be appreciated and can be a landmark of Cebu. Situated at the Roosevelt St., Brgy. Busay Cebu City.
The design was inspired by ancient Roman Architecture complete with Doric columns made of granite. Surrounded by various Grecian statues where show the beauty of the temple with around 5,000sqm of the whole total area. It includes granite floors and a marble fountain at the center. As was reported since the construction started this temple cost P80 million.
Another attracts the temple is the statue of the two golden lions which symbolize as a guard on both sides. And finally in the middle of the temple shows the nine-foot bronze statue of the late, Leah Adarna. Inside the temple, you can also glance at her antique collection.
As of today, the temple became even a wedding prenuptial photoshoot and even debut pictorials. Every day lots of local and foreign visitors in the place.
